Hello Lovelies~
I was organizing my make up the other day for my next organization artical, and I thought I'd show off one of my recent purchases.
Bubbles, by Elizabeth Arden is a deep smokey grey blue with hunter green and gold under tones. It shimmers differently under different light and that is what drew me to this beautiful. color to begin with.
It's light weight and smudges easy on its own, which is the only down side of buying this brand, but with an eye primer or a light all over transluasant sealer, it stays in place just fine.
This color is used best with the smokey eye trick and would be best with an evening look. Pair it with a gold for the lid and anything but lime green for the crease shade. I garentee whether you have Winter or Summer coloring, this is the shade for you.

Getting Organized! The begining....
Hello Lovelies~
Raise your hand if you are the most organized, picture perfect person ever! .... well, I'm sure one or two of you did, but I myself have no claim to a title such as that. I'm messy and while my world doesn't look like a hurricane swept though it, it's not perfect. But lately I have been trying to get organized and wanted to share my progress with all of you.
I recently painted my room, and for that, I have to take everything out and it was like a fresh, light blue colored canvas. I got to completely rearrange my room and one of the big things I didn't replace was my dresser. Instead I am using two bookcases for my clothes. One for my work clothes and various non Lolita clothes, and one for my Lolita clothes.
Here it is! And below is each shelf, broken down.
Starting from the top, We have my skirts. I don't have a closet, and I make most of my own skirts, so I'm never worried about folding them. Simple, novelty 100% cotton fabric is the best for fun, quick clothes for everyday casual looks.
Next is for my Headdresses and Headbows.
These Headbows are from Metamorphose. I love them all and most were gifts from the person I care about a lot. On the other side are my headdresses.
The headdress up front is also from Metamorphose, but the ones behind it are all made by me. I wear headdresses more than headbows, but I respect each hair accessory for what they bring to a complete look.
The next is the shelf closest to my bed, so it's a touch more cluttered than I'd like. Lotions, Books, and my DS all live along side the stationary I use to write letters, the most beautiful one of a kind painting I found at Sam's of all places! It's great inspiration when I'm drawing or sewing or doing Deco...don't know why, but it is. I love the depth of it.
This shelf is for the odd, out of season hair accessories and hats.

A Lolita Letter
Hello Lovelies~
After reading an letter written by a fellow blogger that she wrote after reading a letter from another blogger, I decided to write my own letter!
Please check out the original Letter ----> Here ^_^
So here I go!
Dear Lolita-chan~
It's been a long, hard road to get where you are. Often times that road was filled with stares that you could feel as you walked by and awkward questions that you really didn't know the answer to, but you've made it though the tough times to find yourself surrounded in a fluffy, elegant, beautiful world that accepts you for you and have found friends that think 'Go Big or Go Home' is a way of life, no just a pretty phrase.
When you started out all those years ago by starring at a room full of clothes that were nice, but didn't actually speak to you, and searched until you put together two nice outfits that consisted of black tank tops over white dress shirts with a flat black skirt, I bet you never thought you'd own Brand, or even fit into Brand, but look at you now!
You've learned that walking out of the house with your hair in a scrunchie and chipped, two week old nail polish isn't the best side to show the world. You now stand taller and aren't afraid to walk amongst a crown in your frills for fear that someone will ask you questions. In fact, you welcome the questions and even tell those interested how to get started on their own path of Frilly Discovery.
You can speak to large crowds without shaking, you stand taller, and you've blossomed into a vibrant person that feels as beautiful on the inside as she looks on the outside.
Sure, you have your down days of lounging in front of the t.v. in your pajamas and you still feel that shoes were created by someone as a punishment, and tend not to wear them when you can get away with it, but you're so much happier than you were so many years ago.
So don't give up. Keep smiling though the looks and the questions and you'll find your way.
Kat

Never forgetting that day...
Hello Lovelies~
On this day, 10 years ago, there was an attack on American soil. 2,740 Americans died in the Trade Center collapse. Including foreign officials and Non Americans, an official total of 2,976 died the that terrible terrible attack.
Today we should take a moment of silence to remember those that were Brave. Those that were scared. Those that were lost. And those that were saved.
Today is a day to remember how strong the human spirit is.
So pray, or take a moment of silence, or light a candle. Do something to remember this day.
Ten years ago we lost lives. We as a country have lost our innocence.
There is nothing good I can say to end this post on a good note. Today the bad out weighs the good. Today American became jaded.
I hope that by next year I can post something better. That next year I can post an uplifting piece, but right now. Today. I feel....grey.
I wish the best for the families effected. That still and will always feel the loss of friends and loved ones. Let us never forget this day.
The day that we as a people had our eyes opened.

Make it Cute!
Hello Lovelies~
Recently my Mom and I got new phones and the look exactly alike!!! They are both blue, both smart phones, and neither one of them has a place for cell phone charms so there was no way to tell them apart....until we got them home ^_~
After popping in a good t.v. series, I pulled out my Deco box and got to work!
As you can see from my collection, I don't have whipped cream pieces or lots of roses, but I do have some favored cabochons I've been hording and I figured no was the best time to use them.
I usually use a Japanese silicone based glue, but I ran out of it last Christmas and haven't gotten any more, so this is the first time I am using an American 'All Purpose' for my Deco project.
Allen's Original Tacky Glue...It takes a while to dry, but it's doing well so far.
First, I started by positioning and laying out where I wanted the bigger pieces to go, they are the focal point of the design, so it's imperative that you know where you want them before you glue them, because once they are glued, you don't get a second chance.
I then placed the larger pearls and rhinestones about to give the design a more varied look.
Awkward looking so far, isn't it?
Then came the tons and tons of tiny multi-colored flat back pearls to fill in the body of the phone.
TA DAH!!!!!
It was lots of work and took three hours to finish, but I am so proud of the end result that I can't wait to get more pearls and work on my DS!
