Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
This year, as well as resolving to blog more and take more pictures, I decided I wanted to try more Asian snacks. Most people that are into Anime and Japanese culture flock to the well known stuff like Pocky, Yan Yan, Hi-Chew, Ramune, or Hello Panda and while all of these are addicting and delicious, there is so much more out there! <br />
<br />
Here in Omaha, we have a few really good Asian Markets and while shopping around I came across lots of my favorites and lots of new things and normally, I'm reluctant to try new things. I enjoy the same thing because if I venture out and try something new and don't like it then I've spent money on something I could've spent on something I know I like.<br />
<br />
I know I'm not the only one out there like that and I know there are others out there without the access I have to different Asian options and they might never know the amazing yummy options available to them. So this year I want to do a segment called 'Treats', in which I'll talk about new and or favorite treats that I'm trying and I'll even be doing giveaways for some of them so that all of ya'll can have the option to experience the yummy-ness as well ^_^ <br />
<br />
For my first 'Treats' post, I'll be talking about a Korean sweet potato chip! <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixYcDPcbgL0AP6jbtBVVyzscZ0Ahdf8rzionvRODojdlp3hcOVOQuuMldeulXKpdbxlCsl6wO9hJgCovTZ1WYUZb94XEhozoE9oatHSD98d2rvQLFAtFn0wiOrdSRz0x9j7V0aSutKIZo/s1600/d_st_8805856102210_a_5954.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixYcDPcbgL0AP6jbtBVVyzscZ0Ahdf8rzionvRODojdlp3hcOVOQuuMldeulXKpdbxlCsl6wO9hJgCovTZ1WYUZb94XEhozoE9oatHSD98d2rvQLFAtFn0wiOrdSRz0x9j7V0aSutKIZo/s1600/d_st_8805856102210_a_5954.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I am currently munching these addicting little chrunchies and let me tell you....I think I've found my new favorite snack food. <br />
<br />
I'm not sure if they are officially Sweet Potato chips. But they are fluffy, crunchy, and sweet, tasting both like Sweet Potatoes and Honey, and just a hit of Sesame, so all in all, it's a delicious treat for less than $3. <br />
<br />
And for about 136 calories a serving if you count that sort of thing, it's more satisfying than a small bag of Kellogg's cookies or brownie bites or any other '100 Calorie' type snack that just leaves you pissed off and hungry five minuets later. <br />
<br />
I rate these a 10 out of YES I'LL GET THEM AGAIN!!!! <br />
<br />
Lol ^_^ <br />
<br />
Thanks for reading~ ! <br />

<br />
New hand lotion! It smells sweet and soft. But it's from Walmart and was $.99 cents, so it's mostly Alcohol based and evaporates quickly while drying out the hands. Sad....but I love the smell! <br />

<br />
Tamagatchi figurine to go along with my new Tamagatchi, which I will do a separate post about. I am all about Butterflies right now, Butterflies and Foxes, so this made me squee a bit. <br />

<br />
When moving this year, it came to my attention that I have NO empty sketch books, so Santa must have heard my pleas when he brought this for me. <br />

Cheesy Steak Sweet Potato Fries! Pictures + Recipe! <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
I have been in a really munchie mood lately and the thing I've been craving the most is Outback Steakhouse's Bacon Cheese Fries! But....sadly, I'm broke. So paying $8 for fries is out of the question. But It's a pretty basic recipe consisting of fries, cheese, bacon, and ranch to dip them in. So it was off to the kitchen! <br />
<br />
Upon entry I discovered no potatoes and no bacon, I was SO sad and thought I might have to change my plans. <br />
<br />
But Lucky Me!!!! I found a bag of sweet potato fries in the freezer and a steak! So here is how to make my yummy Cheesy Sweet Potato Steak Fries!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zrfdaVP6cWc/VCDduSX4IDI/AAAAAAAAELQ/C5KQXawO0TQ/s1600/20140921_194834" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zrfdaVP6cWc/VCDduSX4IDI/AAAAAAAAELQ/C5KQXawO0TQ/s1600/20140921_194834" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i0iqa_TgbqY/VCDdvpXxwNI/AAAAAAAAELY/77n30yh-N6o/s1600/20140921_194838" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i0iqa_TgbqY/VCDdvpXxwNI/AAAAAAAAELY/77n30yh-N6o/s1600/20140921_194838" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step 1~ Fry your fries<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wsD5S9jryhs/VCDdw6uD7xI/AAAAAAAAELg/xS2yFX_MvDA/s1600/20140921_195029" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wsD5S9jryhs/VCDdw6uD7xI/AAAAAAAAELg/xS2yFX_MvDA/s1600/20140921_195029" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6K4Z1A4RQyA/VCDdyEd0QyI/AAAAAAAAELo/t3HgPh8HB9k/s1600/20140921_195706" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6K4Z1A4RQyA/VCDdyEd0QyI/AAAAAAAAELo/t3HgPh8HB9k/s1600/20140921_195706" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step 2~ Let cool as you cook your steak, flavor as you will but to get my taste cook with a drizzle of steak sauce, a splash of hot sauce, and a sprinkle of red wine. Salt and Pepper to taste.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hoIiBSKOF9E/VCDdzKg-9UI/AAAAAAAAELw/uH__ew1cXPg/s1600/20140921_203432" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hoIiBSKOF9E/VCDdzKg-9UI/AAAAAAAAELw/uH__ew1cXPg/s1600/20140921_203432" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step 3~ Cover fries with shredded Cheddar and microwave for 1 minute.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ok8glfr5am0/VCDd1OZsgCI/AAAAAAAAEL4/xyhhPCkdL5A/s1600/20140921_204027" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ok8glfr5am0/VCDd1OZsgCI/AAAAAAAAEL4/xyhhPCkdL5A/s1600/20140921_204027" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step 4~ Top with steak and eat! (Ranch to dip if wanted) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3LJYcaBKDcc/VCDd2D0tmVI/AAAAAAAAEMA/_Es-sJg1-3s/s1600/20140921_204054" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3LJYcaBKDcc/VCDd2D0tmVI/AAAAAAAAEMA/_Es-sJg1-3s/s1600/20140921_204054" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This took less than 30 mins to make and cost less than $8! (The steak was on sale for $2.32 and the fries were on sale as well, but I can't remember the exact price. But you can use an actual Sweet Potato as well to keep the cost down.) <br />
<br />
It was so delicious! <br />
<br />
Have ya'll done anything creative in the kitchen lately? I'd love to hear about it! Or see it! <br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
I've been up all night packing to go up to a wonderful convention called Midoricon, which I will be giving a full post about when I get home, but until then, I'd like to leave ya'll with an Inspiration's post to kick off this month right~! <br />
<br />
This month is all about Tea for me. Last month was a terrible month all around and one of the things that got me through it was a strong cup of tea in a pretty cup or a gentle cup of tea in a sturdy mug. Both settled my heart and kept me calm through every up and down I experienced.<br />
<br />
At Midori, I'll be hosting a Lolita Tea Party and so while I'm packing my frills, I'm also sipping green tea and looking up fun Tea Treats for all of ya'll to look over and enjoy while I'm gone. <br />
<br />
All of these recipes can be found in Full at Tea Time Magazine.<br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
It's been awhile since I last updated and let me just tell you, the month of August has SUCKED! But it's almost over and I'm on my feet again and I'm ready to start interacting with the world again. And how better to jump back in than with a 'Design an Outfit'? <br />
<br />
This time I thought I'd go a bit 'In the Box' so to say and when I think of boxes, they are always Blue ^_^ So this month's DaO is Doctor Who themed~! <br />
<br />
And what better way to show a bit of fandom love than to create a T.A.R.D.I.S. look? <br />
<br />
We'll start with the dress~ <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8U2C_9vM_cw/U7nt3Gr4miI/AAAAAAAAEG4/uAaftw2D5JM/s1600/20140706_194548" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8U2C_9vM_cw/U7nt3Gr4miI/AAAAAAAAEG4/uAaftw2D5JM/s1600/20140706_194548" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Excuse the blurry picture. I wasn't able to save the picture from the website, couldn't find it anywhere else, and I had to get creative.<br />
<br />
You can fin the dress, <a href="http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/georgia-gallivanting-dress">HERE</a> on Modcloth. com. <br />
<br />
I chose this dress because of the spot on colors. It's not white window boxes by any means, but it is the start to a good over all look. Especially the double striped of white on the top and bottom. This dress goes all the way up to a 4X so anyone who wants to recreate this outfit for themselves will be able to with no problems ^_^ <br />
<br />
<br />
Because it's Doctor Who, what would this outfit be without a bit of Space? So I liked the idea of Galaxy tights. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBH25795F6bMRxjoCAzc65SQPZ0waNtxi4T9wUPnFftNo2aonRBcz353crY4fS5rW3EHTssaEgp_thGtwO_XaAeXi428625pOao-k0lkiBUO4ql7lKiytmec6zMjK3rSJqh_FUIgGALXM/s1600/10413125_1495367304029782_749987293_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBH25795F6bMRxjoCAzc65SQPZ0waNtxi4T9wUPnFftNo2aonRBcz353crY4fS5rW3EHTssaEgp_thGtwO_XaAeXi428625pOao-k0lkiBUO4ql7lKiytmec6zMjK3rSJqh_FUIgGALXM/s1600/10413125_1495367304029782_749987293_a.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR2i1TPRA5rKdLSX_u7rJ6nyay7wVecAn0CpElWNWfpDoXUBrmtlfn8n0btknyTZeFith0p3W3a1CUbC2lsq8dPs5SEP7CuxmJ5LEHRgfRG43FVtoElLI5wH78nStWkbeWCL4tBoouOLk/s1600/10413185_243018502565355_543525131_a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR2i1TPRA5rKdLSX_u7rJ6nyay7wVecAn0CpElWNWfpDoXUBrmtlfn8n0btknyTZeFith0p3W3a1CUbC2lsq8dPs5SEP7CuxmJ5LEHRgfRG43FVtoElLI5wH78nStWkbeWCL4tBoouOLk/s1600/10413185_243018502565355_543525131_a.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I found these images on Google Images, so I won't be adding a link to them in specific. There are so many different prints and styles of Galaxy tights that it's very subjective. So add which ever style suits you best.<br />
<br />
You could even DIY them for a bit of an extra personal touch to your outfit. <br />
<br />
Taylor Yo has a really easy to follow 'Cosmic' tights tutorial. Check it out! <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Shoes next! <br />
<br />
These were found on Etsy and SatansSlippers will make a custom set just for you. You get two designs, one on each shoe, for the quoted price, and then it's $10 extra for each added design. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Find them <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/153290342/doctor-who-shoes">HERE.</a> Another fun part about these shoes is that they remind me of Ten's shoes, which is why I went with them over Heels. It also keep the outfit wearable for everyone because there are some out there who are uncomfortable in the sky high heels I tend to gravitate towards. <br />
<br />
<br />
That is the VERY basic outfit, but this is like a cake with no icing! So let's decorate it up a bit. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtjBqommiaRG5I01vshd60bz7J5Petrp97mNdIynIi8P47WsSvCR-Z1kUzUeI50QISfacF1PEaROvFH4QcUNbj5_OW09pDc24yuihFqJ6Tg1L6uht9TTGYuOsqVq-PPBTU0HK-UKdgp5s/s1600/Tardis-Belt-Buckle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtjBqommiaRG5I01vshd60bz7J5Petrp97mNdIynIi8P47WsSvCR-Z1kUzUeI50QISfacF1PEaROvFH4QcUNbj5_OW09pDc24yuihFqJ6Tg1L6uht9TTGYuOsqVq-PPBTU0HK-UKdgp5s/s1600/Tardis-Belt-Buckle.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This cute belt buckle can be found <a href="http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/PopCulture/WhatsNew/Doctor+Who+TARDIS+Buckle-10088478.jsp">HERE.</a> Hottopic is a great source for DW items. I'd add this to a pretty white leather belt to add definition to the waist if you're one for belts. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
This next one is interchangeable based on your doctor. But I'm a Nine/Ten girl, forever and always. <br />
<br />

<br />
Etsy has lots of different styles of Doctor Who necklaces, but nothing is more classic than Bad Wolf. and this necklace reminds me of episode 4 where the T.A.R.D.I.S. is gratified. My only wish is that it were white, but oh well. <br />
<br />
This necklace is from TheGeekStudio and can be obtained <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/106218799/bad-wolf-necklace">HERE</a>! <br />
<br />
<br />
I leave the hair to you. I think a cute blue pill box hat would be fun, but they are hard to find. You could also go with a simple hair bow with a Doctor Who print or theme to round out everything for a head to toe feel. <br />
<br />
And there you have it!<br />
<br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
Yesterday I was invited over to play dress up with my friend from the wonderful blog JunkyAlchemy. I brought a few dresses to choose from and she did my makeup and hair. But before we even got to the dress up portion, I let her try on my dresses. She's never worn brand before and she's been loosing crazy amounts of weight lately so we dressed her up first and WOW~ <br />
<br />
So before I even show off my, I want to show her off. She's such a great friend and I was so happy that I got to experience her friend moments of Brand with her. She was so happy and emotional. We all have those feels the first time we wear our first Baby dress....it was so beautiful. <br />

<br />
<br />
Step one of the eyes done! Three steps to go O.O<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The mascara we used was Too Faced's Size Queen. Look at that brush?! It was a wonderful mascara to blend the regular lashes and the false lashes together. <br />
<br />
And now the eyes are done! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rYnVz55k500/U7nAPmDF0_I/AAAAAAAAEDo/CendvJ1NnAA/s1600/20140705_202635" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rYnVz55k500/U7nAPmDF0_I/AAAAAAAAEDo/CendvJ1NnAA/s1600/20140705_202635" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Hair half up and half down to show the difference. There is a short video that will be uploaded with a review of the hair spray we used in my hair. I really liked it! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I laughed when she pulled out the pearl tipped hair pins. Apparently she was very prepared for my hair and had ideas on what she wanted to do with my new Blue tipped hair. Oh yes. >.>....for those of you who already noticed and figured it out. I dyed my hair earlier this week. Just the tips, but I love it so much! <br /><br /> Swimming is a Blast! I love seeing the blue floating around me. It's such an amazing feeling. Next is a mermaid tail and my life long dream of being a mermaid will be complete! <br />
<br />
<br />
Next we dressed Jenee up in my Black and Pink Baby dress and she looks so cute! Next time we get together I'll be doing her hair and makeup so look forward to that ^_^ <br />

<br />
We got a bit crazy with the poses, no me, I'm not that creating when posing, but she used a few new ones. Like the 'Up Up and Away' pose and the closely related 'Flamingo' pose! <br />
<br />
She even did a Grumpy Cat expression and a Sand Crab pose. It was so much fun taking pictures!<br />

<br />
And then it was time to go home! I waited until 5 am to get ready for bed because I just wanted to bask in the awesome of my hair. But it had to come down and it looked really cute down too. I think I'm going to rock the twin tail look more often. <br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
Just the other day I caught a wonderful sale while out shopping with my friend Al. I love a good sale and I can never pass up clothes that are 50% off clearance! If you follow me on Instagram you'll remember having seen the new skirt I got a week or so ago and I finally got to wear it! <br />
<br />
I didn't know how I was going mix it in with my clothes. I mean, most of the stuff I own just doesn't go with Hot Pink and Leopard Print, but I fell love with this skirt the moment I laid eyes on it and just had to have it. <br />
<br />
So before I show you what I got yesterday, I'm going to show off the evolution of my outfit! <br />
<br />
<br />
If I hadn't been taking pictures, I'd have just settled with draft of the outfit. It's not bad, but Not good at all. I thought the pinks would go and be cute together and in the mirror it was! But on film....not so much. So off with the shirt. <br />
<br />
NEXT! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-50IqeDAJDms/U6Jore9ZngI/AAAAAAAAD94/OGZOgM8eO40/s1600/20140618_154701" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-50IqeDAJDms/U6Jore9ZngI/AAAAAAAAD94/OGZOgM8eO40/s1600/20140618_154701" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then I thought a solid colored shirt would work well, but seems I've lost enough weight that this shirt now looks frumpy on me and tucking it in looked worse. Not to mention that it made the skirt, which I wanted to highlight, just ...There and rather be the star of the show, it looked out of place, so this too was rejected. <br />
<br />
NEXT!!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NLxjrc4F-W8/U6JoqB4JjZI/AAAAAAAAD9w/-eQSzAuEJ-w/s1600/20140618_154935" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NLxjrc4F-W8/U6JoqB4JjZI/AAAAAAAAD9w/-eQSzAuEJ-w/s1600/20140618_154935" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Whoever 'They' are, they're right. Third time's a charm and I really loved this final product. In the beginning I was worried about mixing my patterns, seeing as the Putumayo top had pink and grey stripes and a decal, but the mixed well and I felt awesome. <br />
<br />
While it's not my normal frills, super dressy or casual, I loved it and even wore my Metamorphose headbow to tie it all together. <br />
<br />
I truly felt like I could've been in a 'Kera' street snap yesterday. It's not pictured, but after I found the right outfit, I did do my makeup, but it's wasn't wild or crazy, just simple and done with pinks ^_~<br />
<br />

Top: Putumayo<br />
Skirt: City Streets<br />
Pants: Yoga pants (No idea where I got them)<br />
Shoes: Black Mary Janes (Got them at DSW)<br />
Headbow: Metamorphose<br />
Necklace: No idea (It was a gift)<br />
<br />
<br />
I don't have a lot of money coming in right now, so to feed my shopping habit, which I usually keep a very tight reign on, I have been shopping at the local 'Second Life' shop for 'On Trend' type clothing called 'Plato's Closet'. <br />
<br />
When I first heard of them, years ago, I was much to big to even fit the occasional 2X the sell there, but No I am wearing 1X-2X and am very please with myself and can now browse with my friend and don't just dream of wearing the cute clothes I find. <br />
<br />
Here is what I found this time! <br />
<br />
This Top is originally from Forever 21. It's a 3X, but their sizes run small and for $3, marked down from $6, I figured why not? <br />
<br />
It's soft and flowy. Half cotton, Half chiffon, and poka-dots! How cute! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OAON1dPG8fA/U6Joj7MNUwI/AAAAAAAAD9Y/jKdIFCQ8-l4/s1600/20140618_233243" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OAON1dPG8fA/U6Joj7MNUwI/AAAAAAAAD9Y/jKdIFCQ8-l4/s1600/20140618_233243" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
My favorite part is the Peter Pan type collar and the gold rimmed buttons. This can be worn for casually, on an interview, or even a date. The designer of this shirt really did a great job. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DlV84W3XroM/U6JolE0gNNI/AAAAAAAAD9g/syYGOk2_T-o/s1600/20140618_233320" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DlV84W3XroM/U6JolE0gNNI/AAAAAAAAD9g/syYGOk2_T-o/s1600/20140618_233320" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next is this super cute gold skirt. It's on an elastic band that's shot through with gold threads and the whole thing bounces and has great movement. I tried it on when I bought my pink skirt, but passed it up due to budget. <br />
<br />
This skirt was originally $8. I bought it for $4, only to find out it had it's original tag on it and was first bought for $44! This was an AWESOME deal! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6tJ6isl-1eI/U6Joh4LLadI/AAAAAAAAD9Q/QDPdDgK2T2A/s1600/20140618_233149" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6tJ6isl-1eI/U6Joh4LLadI/AAAAAAAAD9Q/QDPdDgK2T2A/s1600/20140618_233149" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And finally we come to my impulse buy. Anyone who knows me knows I carry my life with me in my purse. The bigger the better! But when checking out I looked over and saw this beauty and just knew I had to have it! <br />
<br />
Originally sold for $8, I bought it for $4 and it's so pretty! It'll go very nicely with a Hime outfit I've been buying pieces for for a year or so now.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MhptMCrY10c/U6JoffpbjyI/AAAAAAAAD9I/ofemGsm6U5Q/s1600/20140618_233033" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MhptMCrY10c/U6JoffpbjyI/AAAAAAAAD9I/ofemGsm6U5Q/s1600/20140618_233033" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And that's it for my Mini Haul! <br />
<br />
All together I spent $11.45 and I think it was well spent. I am so excited to add these to my collection of Non-Lolita, But Still Cute! clothes.<br />
<br />

<br />
Today I am showing off my Hello Kitty Toaster! <br />
<br />
I've had it for a long time, but am only now getting around to opening it and using it. And I love it!!!<br />
<br />
Feel my love through the pictures I couldn't stop taking! <br />

<br />
This was on the '2' setting, as you can see, it toasted well, but no Hello Kitty. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Wz-ry1YMwMA/U5qk3eoI-UI/AAAAAAAAD8Q/gceCAB6ehps/s1600/20140610_123930" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Wz-ry1YMwMA/U5qk3eoI-UI/AAAAAAAAD8Q/gceCAB6ehps/s1600/20140610_123930" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>

This was on the '3' setting, as you can see it toasted to well and there IS a Hello Kitty! <br />

<br />
'2' and a smidge resulted in Kitty's eyes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qB7woy4ccY8/U5qk0N5rMOI/AAAAAAAAD74/JI50ee05jCM/s1600/20140612_200924" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qB7woy4ccY8/U5qk0N5rMOI/AAAAAAAAD74/JI50ee05jCM/s1600/20140612_200924" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
And '2.5' was dark, but still edible! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
After all of the Toast was made, we decided to make Triple Decker BLTs! They were SO good. <br />
<br />
I hope you enjoy your Food Friday and celebrate the Full Moon Tonight! Pet all black cat you see and tell them they are beautiful! (It combats the bad luck ^_~) <br />

<br />
Hello Lovelies~<br />
<br />
A few weeks ago, my friend brought me a gift as a housewarming of sorts and I was very excited because I usually see products like this and long for them, but pass them by as to expensive...but then buy a $30 DVD. >.>....Yeah. You can see where my priorities tend to lie. <br />
<br />
This is 'Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum' by Organix. It is Sulfate free, Helps to repair damaged hair, and mend split ends and frizziness, which happen to all hair types, but is particularly bad when you have curls or strong waves.<br />
<br />
Organix Coconut Milk adds strength and elasticity to weak, brittle, and damaged hair. It helps protect longer hair by reducing everyday damage and has unique blend of organic coconut oil and silk and keratin protein to instantly repair dry, damaged, coarse and chemically treated hair.<br />
<br />
Sounds like a Miracle in a Bottle, doesn't it? But does this product really do all that it claims? If it does I will build it an alter. <br />
<br />
In the last few month my hair has become sad and flat and I am getting split ends. It's falling out and breaking much to easily....it makes me want to cry most days.<br />
<br />
I've been trying DIY hair masks, leave in conditioners, hot oil, noting was working to get moisture back in and repair the brittle-ness. So when I got the Organix, which promises such amazing things, I figured 'Why not? Nothing to Lose'. <br />
<br />
I've been using it for a week now and I must say, while it hasn't been the bottled Phoenix Feathers it claims to be, it has made a visible difference.<br />
<br />
<strong>Was it heavy?</strong><br />
<br />
No, but it wasn't weightless either. It was a nice light weight styling product that smooths through hair nicely but takes a bit to wash the residue off your hands. <br />
<br />
4/5<br />
<br />
<strong>How is it Packaged?</strong><br />
<br />
This may not be a big question for you, but it is for me. Glass bottles, while cool, don't tend to be reusable and when they are done we throw them away (I always forget to recycle) to be filler in a trash heap somewhere which isn't good for the environment.<br />
<br />
But Organix bottles are eco-friendly. Each manufactured from recycled materials. So no matter what, whether it's recycled or thrown away, it's not going to harm the environment<br />
<br />
.(Organix is also a Animal testing free company so that is a big bonus for me!) <br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<strong>How Does is Smell?</strong><br />
<strong></strong><br />
What's the first thing you do after looking at the package and reading the instruction? That's right, you smell it. But some products you have to buy blind due to seals and all that so you get it home and it smells like death and dying or chemical sweet....<br />
<br />
But this Coconut Milk Serum smells like the beach and tanning lotion. It's tropical and is perfect for those of us who have to lay by a concert pool and dream of the ocean. <br />
<br />
5/5<br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>What Does it Cost?</strong><br />
<br />
I wasn't expecting this product to be less than $12.50. I really wasn't. But When I went searching online, I found it available on multiple sites for $6.99.<br />
<br />
$6.99 for 4 fluid ounces. that'll last 5 months or so with every other day use. Not bad at all. <br />

<br />
<br />
My hair is softer and stronger than before. After four days I already have less hair wrapped around my pony tail holders and in my hair brush. I am looking forward to good things as times goes on. <br />
<br />
<br />
<strong>Over All</strong>! ~ 4.5/5 <br />
<br />
<strong><u>Recommended!!!</u></strong><br />
<br />
I will be getting this again. I think it'll stay in my hair care regime for a long time to come. <br />

Hello Lovelies~<br />
<br />
As of two days ago I hit 50,000 page views and I wanted to thank All of you! Without you, my wonderful wonderful readers and friends, Simple and Sweet wouldn't be what it is. We still have more growing to do, but as we stretch our wings and fly, know that we fly together! <br />
<br />
Yesterday I spent the day crafting with my friend Al and we worked on old T-shirts. Turning the old or ruined clothes into something new and awesome. <br />
<br />
Our previous Craft day, Al took her old Dead Pool shirt and turned it into a tank top, but she felt is still needed something. So we went to work. <br />
<br />
Originally, she was going to add an inch and a half of leopard print all the way around the arm holes, but she didn't end up liking that, so it was changed. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iPM-Jk22r_o/U5Z7dfAYvZI/AAAAAAAAD5k/M4ysasEkjgI/s1600/20140609_173655" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iPM-Jk22r_o/U5Z7dfAYvZI/AAAAAAAAD5k/M4ysasEkjgI/s1600/20140609_173655" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CwY9RFx8RUE/U5Z7eSXYQnI/AAAAAAAAD5s/cVutgLNnKms/s1600/20140609_173712" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CwY9RFx8RUE/U5Z7eSXYQnI/AAAAAAAAD5s/cVutgLNnKms/s1600/20140609_173712" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vNUdJ5MmV-I/U5Z7fIb94BI/AAAAAAAAD50/iGjdnX0CQ7Q/s1600/20140609_173627" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vNUdJ5MmV-I/U5Z7fIb94BI/AAAAAAAAD50/iGjdnX0CQ7Q/s1600/20140609_173627" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-34XhksN1VYk/U5Z7f1VOAbI/AAAAAAAAD58/H9eMWJYD2j0/s1600/20140609_183207" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-34XhksN1VYk/U5Z7f1VOAbI/AAAAAAAAD58/H9eMWJYD2j0/s1600/20140609_183207" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
As you can see above, slightly, she cut off the straps and added leopard print straps instead. Which actually look really cool. We have one more craft day before it's done, but I think it looks way cool. <br />
<br />
We also discovered that knit is forgiving and a Stapler can be used as an Automatic Pinner. Really, we couldn't find any pins, so we used the stapler and liked it. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XOjMYIcDc0g/U5Z7grY743I/AAAAAAAAD6E/wPv7U9egits/s1600/20140609_183237" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XOjMYIcDc0g/U5Z7grY743I/AAAAAAAAD6E/wPv7U9egits/s1600/20140609_183237" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my project. As you can see below, I have a hole in one of my favorite shirts. I've had it for a long time and the hole is large and unfixable. So I decided to cut a curved triangle out of the front and add a cute ruffled panel of blue fabric with a light blue bow that will match the decal on the shirt. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Yeah.....I didn't like it at all. It took two and a half hours of staring at this shirt trying o decide what I didn't like about it until I realized the refashion I wanted to do wasn't really my style.<br />
<br />
So I took a step back from the original design and re-evaluated my fabric options and made something much more me. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a6_Wvbp4ecc/U5Z7hQqpThI/AAAAAAAAD6M/RLCsF56Og7o/s1600/20140609_191429" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a6_Wvbp4ecc/U5Z7hQqpThI/AAAAAAAAD6M/RLCsF56Og7o/s1600/20140609_191429" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
The thin bands around the waist, the arms, the collar, and the bottom of the skirt will be done in black leather, which will be the only fabric I'll need to buy. <br />
<br />
I might want to add bows to the sleeves as well, and maybe turn them into puffy sleeves, but I'm going to do everything else first and the sleeves will be a game day decision, so to speak. <br />
<br />
Thanks for reading! And Thanks for helping Simple and Sweet reach this very cool milestone!<br />

Hello Lovelies~<br />
<br />
May is gone, June is here, and things have changed once more for me, which is why I disappeared through the month of flowers. I have moved once more and am now living with a good friend of mine and watching her little girl for the summer. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you're sure to see her in the background of some on my pictures. The girl isn't just a Ham, she's the whole Christmas Dinner.<br />
<br />
I'm writing again. I joined and RP last year and recently stopped lurking an joined in the fun. Now all of my literary creative juices are flowing and I feel so energized it's kind of crazy. But that might also be because Summer is here and I love summer. <br />
<br />
Swimming, sun, cooking out. What's not to love? This is the perfect season to scale back the layers and bean the rules till they melt in the heat. Casual Lolita is easier to do in the summer and it's even ok to rock the short styled skirt that AP promotes from collection to collection when the print suits.<br />
<br />
The Dark Eye Shadow Tutorial I promised is on it's way, along with a Makeup Brush Deco tutorial I promised a lovely reader who asked for it in the Comment Box on the side bar to the right. Though if you comment or ask questions with that, please remember to put the title of the post in there some how. I discovered the hard way that it is a direct link to me, but is an independent widget, thus it isn't connected to the Post at all, but to the Blog itself. <br />
<br />
^-^; Silly me, but you live and learn. <br />
<br />
Yesterday was International Lolita Day! (YAY!!!!) I hope ya'll had fun and did something to celebrate, even if it was just something small like wearing a bow and curling your hair or wearing Mary Janes when you usually wear sneakers or something. <br />
<br />
I happened to be invited to the Zoo though a strange conversation that started off as plans for other people, then morphed into combined plans, then different plans, then just all types of plans were made! But the Zoo plans fell perfectly. <br />
<br />
When I got dressed I hadn't planned on rain, but by the time we got to the Zoo it was Pouring! It cleared up later in the day, but still. Rain on ILD. <br />
<br />
It was a good thing I brought one of my parasols. If you ever get a chance to get one, I recommend it. Especially one that can double as an umbrella. They are so useful for zoo trips. 7 hours in and out of the sun and I am not burned any more than I was the day before. <br />
<br />
We didn't see everything, our Zoo is huge! But we got a good bit accomplished and even got to ride the carousel! No pictures sadly, my phone died in the middle of the trip, but I did get tons of pictures in the aquarium! FISH!! <br />
<br />
All of those will be a separate post. I took lots of pictures there. ^-^; <br />
<br />
And we rode the train around the back half to see even more animals, because I don't think we'd have made it if we'd have been walking with four kids, a stroller and a wagon, each containing a child and food. o.o <br />
<br />
The day was finished off with an early birthday celebration for my lovely roommate. We had Pork Ribs smoked to perfection with mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, grilled Asparagus, and grilled pineapple (of which I only had one small square to try, but didn't eat more so I could avoid my stupid allergy from kicking in, despite the Grilled Pineapple being one of the more delicious things ever!)<br />
<br />
I had a blast and it was a wonderful way to celebrate ILD. I now have wonderful new memories and stories to tell. <br />
<br />
Now on to my outfit for the day! <br />
<br />
I only got Selfies of myself through the day, so this photo was taken later.<br />

Socks: Metamorphose<br />
Shoes: Off-Brand but Cute As Hell<br />

<br />
Yes, this is an outfit you've seen me in before, but It's super comfortable for a day out and about and walking and this time, rather than adding the two Petticoats I usually wear with all of my dresses, I went without it as this dress has a built in petti. <br />

<br />
This is an older dress, so it has a traditional Old School feel to it, shape and colors, but I love it. I have a large chest, 50" inches and it could go at least four inches larger. I love Meta dresses for this reason. <br />
<br />
<br />
I've always had a thing for fish. Aquariums are my favorite attraction of anywhere I go, but after reading and watching 'Princess Jellyfish' I have come to appreciate Jellies all the more. So I took a picture with one! <br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
I love makeup. Period, end of story. I love it. I used to sit at my mum's side when she would get ready for a date and watch her peruse her vast collection of colors and liners and everything from liquid to solid and I knew the first time she put it on me that I would never be the same again. She taught me everything she knew, going through each step every time she did her make up, they are some of my fondest memories from my childhood.<br />
<br />
And while I had the passion for makeup even way back when, I didn't start actively wearing makeup until I was in middle school, and then for awhile I collected lipsticks, but never wore them until my senior year in high school.<br />
<br />
By that point it was relearning how to ride a bike. I hadn't forgotten, but I didn't have any finesse with it either and I was Goth adjacent, Tripp skirts, thigh highs, and heavy eyeliner, oh the joys of the early 2000's. <br />
<br />
But the one thing I never learned how to do was apply Black eye shadow. I know! Right? Goth girl who never wore black eye shadow. Pretty rare for back then, but it seemed silly on me and always smeared into a big mess, making me look like I had been hit a few times after far to little sleep. <br />
<br />
So I tried it once and never tried it again. That's it! <br />
<br />
'All that for a lousy 'I don't know how to put on black eye shadow'?!<br />
<br />
Yes. Honestly, I've always felt like I was just a step to the left of "Getting It" because of my lacking in this area. The Smokey eye trend came in and I never even attempted it because of my general fear of darker saturated pigments that smear everywhere, even with a good primer. <br />
<br />
So Today I was getting ready to for to Free Comic Book Day and I was putting on a dress I usually pair with various pinks and a black eyeliner when I stopped. <br />
<br />
'Why not try something new today?' I thought. It's not like if I didn't like it I couldn't take it off and start over. So I bravely reached for the up opened trio of black, grey, and light silver I got in an Ipsy bag months ago and got to work. <br />
<br />
This is the result of hard work and determination to get it right. <br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
I wish I had taken more pictures of just my eyes. I am really proud of how they came out! I'm going to attempt to do this look again on my youtube channel, which will be posted here and on my facebook as well, so look out for that. <br />
<br />
I never thought I would be one for dark eye shadow. I always wanted to brighten my eyes rather than darken them, fearing they would end up looking small, but the black and grey look was really pretty and I think when done right, it's a stunning, head turning look. <br />
<br />
Thanks for reading! <br />

Hello Lovelies~<br />
<br />
HAPPY EASTER! <br />
<br />
This month is all about April Showers and more importantly, Rain. I got this cute idea for a rain cloud wall decoration and it won't cost more than $5-ish. $10 if you follow the steps needing rhinestones.<br />
<br />
This project was supposed to be simple with 7 easy to follow steps, but I swear by the time it was all finished it turned out tons cuter than I had originally planed and a whole lot more complicated. By the end it took four hands and quick timing. <br />
<br />
But two hands will work just fine with no issues ^_^ <br />
<br />
Here we go.<br />
<br />
What you'll Need : <br />
<br />
* White Felt<br />
* Red Felt <br />
OR<br />
* Red Colored Paper<br />
* Ribbon/Gold Wire<br />
* Glue (Use whatever glue will work with Felt. I am going to use Hot glue. But if you got with hot glue, use a low heat or it will melt acrylic felt.)<br />
*Flatback Rhinestones in multiple sizes<br />
*Ribbon<br />
<br />
Step One~<br />
<br />
One the white felt, draw a cloud shape. You can free hand this or use a template. Google has some really cute templates for rain clouds if you'd feel more confident doing it that way. I did mine free hand.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGXAnX6NBPj6tpjUHFnQq4j-7AJeBWHoxQT9YRjyNnoRRoqehq_rYf8pkn06Wd_1ZDESjofyQgNFf0wMhzr-KNU2Q_emG6KnB7LH9bEGwLZI2DL5ZD_9wKrm5j2AJt9PswlicA8D60tB8/s1600/IMAG0769.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGXAnX6NBPj6tpjUHFnQq4j-7AJeBWHoxQT9YRjyNnoRRoqehq_rYf8pkn06Wd_1ZDESjofyQgNFf0wMhzr-KNU2Q_emG6KnB7LH9bEGwLZI2DL5ZD_9wKrm5j2AJt9PswlicA8D60tB8/s1600/IMAG0769.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step Two~ <br />
<br />
Cut out the cloud and marvel at the fact that yes, it's a cloud. This is a very important step, so don't skip it ^_~ <br />
<br />
As long as it's puffy, it doesn't have to be perfect. Clouds aren't perfect either. Have fun with it. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDDf6HLUOKFyXbjMpX3XYjcPlKmkrK9rFzy7SfThQKnGAySD-rU1Ydg8WxfXMiugOICc8-EvCcVB3Ys-Sgj-9X8kHMwhxF1lZRAlh7Srk883rIfxWn_-nDHgJOf2tQfqoge8eDHOJ8zmk/s1600/IMAG0770.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDDf6HLUOKFyXbjMpX3XYjcPlKmkrK9rFzy7SfThQKnGAySD-rU1Ydg8WxfXMiugOICc8-EvCcVB3Ys-Sgj-9X8kHMwhxF1lZRAlh7Srk883rIfxWn_-nDHgJOf2tQfqoge8eDHOJ8zmk/s1600/IMAG0770.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Step Three~ <br />
<br />
Cut hearts out of the Red Felt/Red Colored Paper. You can either make them all the same size, or different sizes. I went with multi sizes for a bit of fun. <br />
<br />
This is how I did mine as I had no red colored paper. But I had a Copic Marker and that solved the issue nicely. ^_^ <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheKKcaSitPigQ5HjsVeHg77P4_7CyBeZBb91gseoeuxOKgID1m95D5e0LGoHuwQbUl67thleikfQ4jqi4-FOrNsYaBevNnxTquIYqaLpUrCvluk-2MWumvigN9iOGYTdWrDIREGpH9bgA/s1600/IMAG0781.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheKKcaSitPigQ5HjsVeHg77P4_7CyBeZBb91gseoeuxOKgID1m95D5e0LGoHuwQbUl67thleikfQ4jqi4-FOrNsYaBevNnxTquIYqaLpUrCvluk-2MWumvigN9iOGYTdWrDIREGpH9bgA/s1600/IMAG0781.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step Four~ <br />
<br />
Cut your string/ribbon/wire you're using into different lengths, then glue them to the back of the cloud. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhygXtUDwph2duHHZ0kCQ7bdcXBZeNJ7gO2U_pwskVz447V-a21l0DtT8EHVZzPbQNc-iDm8vLMNj-upxq8i__iwa3qCT5pa2CeA2sjAvf92_HcHHN2kUzngMCnNvV-LWjfqRobXcc6hws/s1600/IMAG0783.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhygXtUDwph2duHHZ0kCQ7bdcXBZeNJ7gO2U_pwskVz447V-a21l0DtT8EHVZzPbQNc-iDm8vLMNj-upxq8i__iwa3qCT5pa2CeA2sjAvf92_HcHHN2kUzngMCnNvV-LWjfqRobXcc6hws/s1600/IMAG0783.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used a small square of felt on the back of the cloud to secure the wires down. I was told this was a good was to keep everything together forever! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9QezzWtD8X9lEjWvCVCERsYx079EPeNvAM8TM1CmvoRySQLXIr4oUrdHtwrlWsP6WjMvZ88XTsmA8GWQHZICC6H5729XOzu0xjNBcHuagsNno_fTSuPets3SvOUtpCIU8bLTda1xG_ak/s1600/IMAG0788.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9QezzWtD8X9lEjWvCVCERsYx079EPeNvAM8TM1CmvoRySQLXIr4oUrdHtwrlWsP6WjMvZ88XTsmA8GWQHZICC6H5729XOzu0xjNBcHuagsNno_fTSuPets3SvOUtpCIU8bLTda1xG_ak/s1600/IMAG0788.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
If you'll notice I used Hot Glue to make sure everything stayed and when I flipped the cloud over I found out that the felt squares holding the wires down could be seen through the white felt and looked like brown spots!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirwk5WEk4oy7wlj2lj3982_LRPmFxllFAxFNyGbtQOxx4w-Ja2gH7jMcEJ9if0dqA0Zxo38wPGswRFwxoDCYZHiwiZHKNHBXb69aYoitCN8eRy29A5i7gazHXobhyphenhyphenZhW1M_iEqw_nD8Hg/s1600/IMAG0789.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirwk5WEk4oy7wlj2lj3982_LRPmFxllFAxFNyGbtQOxx4w-Ja2gH7jMcEJ9if0dqA0Zxo38wPGswRFwxoDCYZHiwiZHKNHBXb69aYoitCN8eRy29A5i7gazHXobhyphenhyphenZhW1M_iEqw_nD8Hg/s1600/IMAG0789.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
But I was able to fix that easily! <br />
<br />
Here's my tip when crafting, and it's something I tell everyone and honestly believe. ALWAYS, always always always, expect the unexpected and make more of things than you need. <br />
<br />
I made more hearts than I needed thank goodness, so I was able to cover up those brown spots, but I was short one, so a bit of ribbon and a 8MM/10MM flat back stone fixed that problem nicely and it added a little something extra. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9ELyaZ7zj23Tfo1dm8NHfrVi4Z_CjMZnXQs9RwfWfp8NdmubOwWZZ-fjjAuV2ZId2Mep-Wy475y4d3RarXsK_WXV_rZKinmZEQUWL1w98li4PfMpc8V7ljOi5k3bbKNNRwOjdajVM95s/s1600/IMAG0790.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9ELyaZ7zj23Tfo1dm8NHfrVi4Z_CjMZnXQs9RwfWfp8NdmubOwWZZ-fjjAuV2ZId2Mep-Wy475y4d3RarXsK_WXV_rZKinmZEQUWL1w98li4PfMpc8V7ljOi5k3bbKNNRwOjdajVM95s/s1600/IMAG0790.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step Five~ <br />
<br />
Glue the hearts to the end of the string/yarn and wait for them to dry. At this point, I would apply a hard backed book or something else just as flat and heavy to keep everything connected till it dries unless you are using Hot Glue, which dries very very fast, so set your hearts just right, you won't get a lot of time to realign them.<br />
<br />
Again, I sealed the wires with a small square of felt, but that step is optional. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi-gjHk7EufjLoz2lGDv8TE6Dfh4PRa86BFAR0eUOJfP7xySR3O68FyMZPdu-o7YjMBquoLv_vStN5HPO9IB6BvpgcuoTCt9g2SADzs2BPcjNIqVwFhXtExIpuB2qZOwp6s73FQM_1s6M/s1600/IMAG0792.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi-gjHk7EufjLoz2lGDv8TE6Dfh4PRa86BFAR0eUOJfP7xySR3O68FyMZPdu-o7YjMBquoLv_vStN5HPO9IB6BvpgcuoTCt9g2SADzs2BPcjNIqVwFhXtExIpuB2qZOwp6s73FQM_1s6M/s1600/IMAG0792.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Step Six~ <br />
<br />
This is wear is was going to end, but with a little encouragement and a great idea from my friend Jenee from JunkyAlchemy, I went a bit further but this step and everything after doesn't need to be done to enjoy your new wall decoration.<br />
<br />
This is where I needed an extra set of hands, and things got a bit crazy. If ya'll didn't know this, Hot Glue dries the moment you look away from it. So if you don't have to use hot glue for this step don't. Instead use something equally strong like E-6000, but you might need to take it slower with the gem gluing process.<br />
<br />
Start with small dark or light blue gems and as you go down the wire/ribbon/string use medium sized gems of the same color and end with a large gem next to the heart. <br />
<br />
This ends up looking like rain droplets! <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYkvYgsUGuMLvL0oMIu_fd4dm-mHo4z_1XA7Ardes7crCo98xH2YSESuehJ6xiWrUqj2RSGO62XDny1o7uoA_H2A01dAj6eaq6q0SJTiTZlwyxpHL6SPfYKsBCly-ReTHiOAiSf7g8pc4/s1600/IMAG0794.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYkvYgsUGuMLvL0oMIu_fd4dm-mHo4z_1XA7Ardes7crCo98xH2YSESuehJ6xiWrUqj2RSGO62XDny1o7uoA_H2A01dAj6eaq6q0SJTiTZlwyxpHL6SPfYKsBCly-ReTHiOAiSf7g8pc4/s1600/IMAG0794.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Step Seven~ <br />
<br />
Use your scissors to snip a small hole on either size on the top of your cloud and use ribbon or yarn to create an arch so you can actually hang your new creation up.<br />
<br />
And you're done! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
OPTIONS! <br />
<br />
~ For a sentimental touch, write the names of those you care about on the hearts, or attach a picture. It'll make you smile every time you glace at it and remember the good times with the ones you love the most. <br />
<br />
~ You can also add small pictures of friends and family to the hearts.<br />
<br />
~ Instead of hearts, you can always use raindrops if you feel this is a bit to 'Valentine's Day' looking. <br />
<br />
~ Create a kawaii face on the cloud. Eyes open or closed, it'll be adorable! <br />
<br />

<br />
"What's Next on Your Lolita Wishlist?" Is this week's Lolita Blog Carnival topic. I wasn't going to participate this week, due to trying to finish up a DIY project for a Friday post, but I pushed the DIY post to Sunday and am excited to show ya'll the Print I'm so in love with. <br />
<br />
From the wonderful mind of one of my favorite American Designers, Elegy from <a href="http://www.elegyclothing.com/">Elegyclothing.com</a>, I present to you the Delicacy and Decay Print.<br />
<br />
This is a pretty basic White and Black or Black and White mirror print. It comes in both an OP and a JSK. I like the JSK version myself as I feel it gives more shape to the body. <br />
<br />
Moths, rather than butterflies, gives this print a distinctly Classic Southern Gothic feel. And the raw rough edges to the ruffles is a nice touch. It feels both structures and deconstructed. It's so wonderful and I think this print would be a wonderful new touch to my wardrobe. <br />
<br />
D and D JSK ~ $185 - $200 (White or Black, I love both!)<br />
<br />
<br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
April is here. This year seems to be flying by so fast and before we know it the ground will be a sea of multi colored flowers with the help of rain and the hopes for warm weather. <br />
<br />
This month I am looking to water to wash away the worries and pain I've been dealing with for the past few months. And in April, that means rain. <br />
<br />
I love the rain. Shower, Storm, Gentle, or Hard, I love it when it rains. I always feel so clean after it rains, so revived. I hope this month brings you new beginnings and fresh out looks on anything that you feel that has become stagnate in your life. <br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
Yesterday I went to a 'Disney Villains' party with a friend. We didn't stay long, but we had fun and I hope to attend more parties thrown by our hosts because the attention to detail was AMAZING! I swear, it was all the little things that really made this party memorable, not just the people, though they were a blast as well. <br />
<br />
<br />
Before I get into the costumes, check out this message on the fridge! This really set the tone of the party for me. I saw it and my first thought was, 'Oh how FUN!'. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYGebIdFinzHEXhMi7sfakh4GRW3YFuJs6Y-NLRMpAS9nu1ych9WDt15p6IhC0PqBMtSx4z1sVVh35kNq9rUei2yspxaG3NSbrp2HMc4VV0-o-DECC0KABjxNZESu-SJX16IdIxoB-SVQ/s1600/IMAG0743.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYGebIdFinzHEXhMi7sfakh4GRW3YFuJs6Y-NLRMpAS9nu1ych9WDt15p6IhC0PqBMtSx4z1sVVh35kNq9rUei2yspxaG3NSbrp2HMc4VV0-o-DECC0KABjxNZESu-SJX16IdIxoB-SVQ/s1600/IMAG0743.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
And now the costumes I got pictures of! Sadly, I didn't get pictures of everyone there and I wish I had. The costumes, while not SERIOUS costumes were fun, well thought out, and I don't think anyone spent a fortune trying to out do one another. Which was really nice. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZL3zVeZffb1UsSLtg-V-Btit2Icf6acDV_a9yNkcnqsJsLBw7sbNIes1segySjSGHLbVovTvbtiOgKqxTETLj10TVBGUAEHxI_NFu8UhPkzYUZ1gGNSTmFH8ayFuEIlHU5f_2GGrYmqQ/s1600/IMAG0737.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZL3zVeZffb1UsSLtg-V-Btit2Icf6acDV_a9yNkcnqsJsLBw7sbNIes1segySjSGHLbVovTvbtiOgKqxTETLj10TVBGUAEHxI_NFu8UhPkzYUZ1gGNSTmFH8ayFuEIlHU5f_2GGrYmqQ/s1600/IMAG0737.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Cruella DeVille was the first costume I saw. I wish I had thought to get closer pictures of her jewelry. Her outfit was amazing. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Above is Scar, played by my friend Linda. The make up is light, but it was really cool to see in person. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilbK7EIZsHu3TVBH2_R8cWz3kkVTpTEMcmUSQ1FLFOlw5NgCgCALJpKdvKOPd8Q5y9mJV6wSxf4GYNCY-8y7iPw3V3LcI6j-X0QqXk9I9O91TUdzwOkJu4s2X-ApjLpM0GtjTmx05J-k0/s1600/IMAG0742.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilbK7EIZsHu3TVBH2_R8cWz3kkVTpTEMcmUSQ1FLFOlw5NgCgCALJpKdvKOPd8Q5y9mJV6wSxf4GYNCY-8y7iPw3V3LcI6j-X0QqXk9I9O91TUdzwOkJu4s2X-ApjLpM0GtjTmx05J-k0/s1600/IMAG0742.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
One of the Hosts, he wasn't in costume, but look at that margarita glass! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimKTAWWb8OBV5FwXfo72gG21gR19YCN7jqzxX1TJFBxzFVACIEIMGspWSdKoxGNE5QXJP29JeZ_KBjZJp8pR2iyUebFbwosXrYfGVbbsYTpgyUquJvDZCSjS6mk4OXLfgnEyPDK7U_KOw/s1600/IMAG0746.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimKTAWWb8OBV5FwXfo72gG21gR19YCN7jqzxX1TJFBxzFVACIEIMGspWSdKoxGNE5QXJP29JeZ_KBjZJp8pR2iyUebFbwosXrYfGVbbsYTpgyUquJvDZCSjS6mk4OXLfgnEyPDK7U_KOw/s1600/IMAG0746.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
And here we have Hades! ...ish. He was only half done and still putting his costume on. Paint takes awhile to dry after all. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2gBwk4rNLLHU_cVG8RnXWaBE8IxnJ-pqozx6OR-p4LIFKVHjPX4vo5LTuSRexbjir1to2kyEWX_fVwmzPrdrWQpwAya5aGPJrYP8BmDTrjOjAKu4KMy62KB9zuMgq3NKtAmCJUN3096s/s1600/IMAG0756.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2gBwk4rNLLHU_cVG8RnXWaBE8IxnJ-pqozx6OR-p4LIFKVHjPX4vo5LTuSRexbjir1to2kyEWX_fVwmzPrdrWQpwAya5aGPJrYP8BmDTrjOjAKu4KMy62KB9zuMgq3NKtAmCJUN3096s/s1600/IMAG0756.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
And me! I went as the Queen of Hearts! (This picture was taken in McDonalds after the party)<br />
<br />
Before we left, there were more costumes that didn't get photographed. Another Queen of Hearts, she looked so cool in her fedora and black jacket!. Sid from Toy Story, complete with Buzz strapped to a rocket. And The Three Fates from Hercules!<br />
<br />
There were others that arrived after we'd left, such as The Hunter from Bambi and Captain Hook, or so I was told.<br />
<br />
And now for all the other awesome things that made this party so much fun.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
Now that it's spring, it's time for me to do some spring cleaning. I'm generally a 'Put it somewhere and that's where it goes, Don't move it.' Type. And that tends to lead to a very messy life, even if I know where everything is. <br />
<br />
So today I have separated laundry and then decided to finally reorganize my Deco Box. <br />
<br />
Here it is before~ <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit5I4pC1H_qN2DANVAgY-rIonIUo6Dx8-rwEWQP55_SB-smSOPzjKxTSCuaa9ADr7JfMVDCCoB5_3qNOa2qsU4F2uiXs6XcDDNfXFHFrgjG7cH006tKvsHgMveTdqu4S68Fxd1F72NkM4/s1600/IMAG0725.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit5I4pC1H_qN2DANVAgY-rIonIUo6Dx8-rwEWQP55_SB-smSOPzjKxTSCuaa9ADr7JfMVDCCoB5_3qNOa2qsU4F2uiXs6XcDDNfXFHFrgjG7cH006tKvsHgMveTdqu4S68Fxd1F72NkM4/s1600/IMAG0725.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
As you can see it is very full and below is what I needed to fit in there. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJvKgij2GWnsRkoJMav50_OCba-r78tgjlYFRBwlMlK6t9ZeeGRhqJ13g1fbzjznHlm9_oVy41Hvk1HaiW4XnX-Yo5WgehjHRTQZdny_TTgvWAgpx3SnikEpqCzzv_7TGWiL_bMq5Dtec/s1600/IMAG0726.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJvKgij2GWnsRkoJMav50_OCba-r78tgjlYFRBwlMlK6t9ZeeGRhqJ13g1fbzjznHlm9_oVy41Hvk1HaiW4XnX-Yo5WgehjHRTQZdny_TTgvWAgpx3SnikEpqCzzv_7TGWiL_bMq5Dtec/s1600/IMAG0726.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Usually, I keep all of my Nail Art supplies in the bottom section of my box, but why let all of this space go to waste? <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkJybKrX0d7gB6lMADS8oz7ea7HqwOhUX1SoGHHxPxgR6MTdsA3GVc56XknNFcprM54VdbNnbua6-MyUG9SNxUPXHwCWEYyq_R9ropF0Rm3XweiwvXPCq8EJoMYInZ_g1Lffi8F8WPqv8/s1600/IMAG0727.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkJybKrX0d7gB6lMADS8oz7ea7HqwOhUX1SoGHHxPxgR6MTdsA3GVc56XknNFcprM54VdbNnbua6-MyUG9SNxUPXHwCWEYyq_R9ropF0Rm3XweiwvXPCq8EJoMYInZ_g1Lffi8F8WPqv8/s1600/IMAG0727.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I divided my acrylic pieces into separate bags and put them into the bottom section. There just wasn't room for them on the top.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikzlxOoZnTphA-7LHNHuSRypUvqRgX3UW-ds5aYtyacycUnwrqGmn84y9dUOzWjVgEeq9luP81DPYT3cQnaRPM6kj34RZxNkS4utQVCjGjw6koIC-g6xooGt-830MhDKYS8dKBXEFX5Ro/s1600/IMAG0728.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikzlxOoZnTphA-7LHNHuSRypUvqRgX3UW-ds5aYtyacycUnwrqGmn84y9dUOzWjVgEeq9luP81DPYT3cQnaRPM6kj34RZxNkS4utQVCjGjw6koIC-g6xooGt-830MhDKYS8dKBXEFX5Ro/s1600/IMAG0728.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then I was able to put all of my new pieces and parts into their new compartments ^_^ I even have a free spot up at the top to keep specific parts together while I'm working on projects! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9_MLRW82-UZyu7gGGYRH88AHd_QvN8s3LKqUmnoQ3WXuYMzQeVXpmT_VN1NlR_qBvtUQxabFZmxx4mrF0Q9vjHJitiQDAMnD5OE-H3vj8V_9LgO-PZWI5JgnJsCWkTfTVGgCeaVS1CPE/s1600/IMAG0731.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9_MLRW82-UZyu7gGGYRH88AHd_QvN8s3LKqUmnoQ3WXuYMzQeVXpmT_VN1NlR_qBvtUQxabFZmxx4mrF0Q9vjHJitiQDAMnD5OE-H3vj8V_9LgO-PZWI5JgnJsCWkTfTVGgCeaVS1CPE/s1600/IMAG0731.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I have a lot more things to organize and clean, but one step at a time, or so they say. I think my next project will be my jewelry...<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading!!<br />

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
As of yesterday, it is officially Spring! <br />
<br />
I love this time of year. Watching the world come back to life after a long winter is always inspiring, even if I do hate the mud and what it does to my shoes, I love a good rain shower and the sound of it tap tap taping against a window as I read Poe and dream of freshly picked strawberries... <br />
<br />
Today I thought I'd share with you my favorite collection of the season. Having looked through all of the upcoming reserves and found most to be nice and pretty, but typical, I was sad to find no one really venturing forth and capturing my attention, until Alice and the Pirates came out with a print that swept me away and has me all a flutter for a new year of fashion. <br />
<br />
I present to you 'Last Note ~ Faint Spring Song' from Alice and the Pirates. <br />

<br />
Sax Blue <br />
(My favorite of the colors offered)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik261Fo_DVjKgCAxmlT30RPzl5DlwfSrpOGlTHRU24XgtbsI9CZAzc6W2wynUFop7L09ZkdXxDnjM1xAofT9jbTZCKXNsHWuaGV9xu6So0IcYiHTXq0dssfq90ogGqJmMPLNwqUEucGAI/s1600/lastnote-sx.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik261Fo_DVjKgCAxmlT30RPzl5DlwfSrpOGlTHRU24XgtbsI9CZAzc6W2wynUFop7L09ZkdXxDnjM1xAofT9jbTZCKXNsHWuaGV9xu6So0IcYiHTXq0dssfq90ogGqJmMPLNwqUEucGAI/s1600/lastnote-sx.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
My favorite part of these colors is that even though they are 'Spring', they aren't the pastel explosion I'm used to seeing this time of year. That may be due to the recent up swing of the Classic influence that cools the color pallet, but I've always loves the Classic Sweet style, so I'm just fine with that. ^_^<br />
<br />
This print has a beautiful mix of floral bouquets, chains, perfume bottles, clocks, lace doilies, and pearls. All set on a pin prick polka dot back ground. It's kind of like the designers looked around and asked, 'How much can we put in here before it's "To Much"?'. But I think it came together nicely, so yay for them. <br />
<br />
The designers at AatP really did a good job with the Dresses, keeping them straight forward and elegant, allowing the wearer and the viewer to focus on the beauty of the print.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQXrOztFwRXqK9yf8f3gBb1jz9fqw94trO1wvYiplURkXR2bb4vqiCdr4B_mMjfj-ZGhy94oZHjj6F6zPr9R8T-oJ-bBvdxQx_2Jc95py8TW72qtJQ4BDb8l4KYCUChC1bPWC3w06KQpY/s1600/P10OJ212.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQXrOztFwRXqK9yf8f3gBb1jz9fqw94trO1wvYiplURkXR2bb4vqiCdr4B_mMjfj-ZGhy94oZHjj6F6zPr9R8T-oJ-bBvdxQx_2Jc95py8TW72qtJQ4BDb8l4KYCUChC1bPWC3w06KQpY/s1600/P10OJ212.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
The Under bust dress (Above) and the Lace printed cut sew (Below), Make a lovely match. There is also a skirt with the collection, but I don't think it pairs well with this shirt.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsRRA5Cnm_LfAKcewkZxh4FWoDMWNHWPlPqNmCsf6dbE52CMyFkZjh0ude9ZWI3iUjehjbeUr7iNdSrBPZOGDisf_6fAp2MDG3Uu4z_58vGX-TT6l8auGCKhsUmPRAkPcJe_a9egsmufE/s1600/P10PO702.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsRRA5Cnm_LfAKcewkZxh4FWoDMWNHWPlPqNmCsf6dbE52CMyFkZjh0ude9ZWI3iUjehjbeUr7iNdSrBPZOGDisf_6fAp2MDG3Uu4z_58vGX-TT6l8auGCKhsUmPRAkPcJe_a9egsmufE/s1600/P10PO702.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I love this OP. From the tiny cap sleeves to the ribbon under the bust, this dress screams 'Regency Inspired' to me. It's a clean silhouette and reminds me of Victorian Maiden's designs from 2008. <br />
<br />
The only downside with the design is that even way back when, it wasn't designed with well endowed ladies in mind.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVlOg5YpdyJE-7dQsvcIe9xKCZ7q3xqANA1U4h_3Era8OqmxRS78a1hU9f0NlaAl_bFsWSQyi_QEvr332vS6fxcMS9FsL5-gGA1qOlswsz8ojXCrIYaffsxisthGYhNaLDJYNLYa5Hp30/s1600/P10OJ213.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVlOg5YpdyJE-7dQsvcIe9xKCZ7q3xqANA1U4h_3Era8OqmxRS78a1hU9f0NlaAl_bFsWSQyi_QEvr332vS6fxcMS9FsL5-gGA1qOlswsz8ojXCrIYaffsxisthGYhNaLDJYNLYa5Hp30/s1600/P10OJ213.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
The skirt below is bet is lovely in person, or actually being worn, but this picture does it no justice. It's an odd shape, not quite a cupcake...not quite an A-line. The ribbon on top is cute, but the small scalloped lace along the bottom is...bland in my opinion. <br />
<br />
It's almost like this piece was an after thought. A...because it's required piece. It shows no love or imagination like the ones above. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXn_79BhRFcrLAotLarTOZxiCrA5ms7iPbEJlSt1i3YPIzEIyD3ie8EHABfM8hCupqowHnW0yz2LeGHY6My3olRtUgz2hybfjrsYCjobpIRgLeNZa6g0-HHBbBXqQypADO62lixoIT-5E/s1600/P10SK505.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXn_79BhRFcrLAotLarTOZxiCrA5ms7iPbEJlSt1i3YPIzEIyD3ie8EHABfM8hCupqowHnW0yz2LeGHY6My3olRtUgz2hybfjrsYCjobpIRgLeNZa6g0-HHBbBXqQypADO62lixoIT-5E/s1600/P10SK505.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
On to the Accessories! Starting with Hair Accessories. <br />
<br />
Seems that with the raise of Classic Lolita, no collection is complete with out a Half Bonnet. The bonnet below has detachable roses on the front that can either be used as an independent hair accessory or a broach. <br />
<br />
Like two accessories for the price of one. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDCRz2z4Mxk1mdGpT_zkeHEwDgr24cYYaMmZdmO9hPDRwRopctvS9BvSq9GaUNSuZweULB8e7-FFaLmbwSQROabKHHtlP6Y6TWWmujF5U_hbpzulsvamLQ6kMF5Y2XbpSW8TH953tKyBY/s1600/P10OH908.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDCRz2z4Mxk1mdGpT_zkeHEwDgr24cYYaMmZdmO9hPDRwRopctvS9BvSq9GaUNSuZweULB8e7-FFaLmbwSQROabKHHtlP6Y6TWWmujF5U_hbpzulsvamLQ6kMF5Y2XbpSW8TH953tKyBY/s1600/P10OH908.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
While I wouldn't wear the bow below as a side bow, I would wear it in the back with a half up half down look. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEX4ctCBxtUWU-Q3AeiQLrfc6mF4vrSBVGMF4JG_adNUdOuiSvfA-rV7gviHbO17ymQgUK0RHLE7SdTDRoGU414ZKIjpyQiij_DWuGxJ1Bfh8FP3oPvfz04uWEWb_eAW241yQ6kCxqH_4/s1600/P10OH907.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEX4ctCBxtUWU-Q3AeiQLrfc6mF4vrSBVGMF4JG_adNUdOuiSvfA-rV7gviHbO17ymQgUK0RHLE7SdTDRoGU414ZKIjpyQiij_DWuGxJ1Bfh8FP3oPvfz04uWEWb_eAW241yQ6kCxqH_4/s1600/P10OH907.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my FAVORITE part of the whole collection. I love it to pieces and really want to add it to my wardrobe.<br />

I really love how it's on a head band rather than ribbons and a hair comb. <br />

<br />
Easy simple bobby pin. ...Not much else to say. But it is cute. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrstskATBs6x8tywJdxSY2ILz3fr3NXpgzGJIJBxtTLs2D056KaPZQ5aw1QfsyB3yrFhVwOHKWc29lVZcZCf4vEaeFkT__dcZaF-si5fNTuM6vyt43ALMbCAh7UhW6qRomMMuSatvc89I/s1600/P10AC018-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrstskATBs6x8tywJdxSY2ILz3fr3NXpgzGJIJBxtTLs2D056KaPZQ5aw1QfsyB3yrFhVwOHKWc29lVZcZCf4vEaeFkT__dcZaF-si5fNTuM6vyt43ALMbCAh7UhW6qRomMMuSatvc89I/s1600/P10AC018-01.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Next, Jewelry! <br />
<br />
This is the second time Baby/Alice has done a pearl and lace woven necklace. I'll be honest, for the $50 they want for this necklace, I could make 10 of them just like it. But it's beautiful. And does complete the collection. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4bpLnWUzFO4ndTAT2vjtQgjkeBJoMQ7lfmS1MH47C-XB3DYQF2lqkSSR2j_OhXSNZrv4cQmWG9T5NEhhhXDHAJkjyruBaZ2HEiWDBmnJutqXbil3Wz8PZn1l7JG3DbLEe0of0Q7821Ck/s1600/P10AC017-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4bpLnWUzFO4ndTAT2vjtQgjkeBJoMQ7lfmS1MH47C-XB3DYQF2lqkSSR2j_OhXSNZrv4cQmWG9T5NEhhhXDHAJkjyruBaZ2HEiWDBmnJutqXbil3Wz8PZn1l7JG3DbLEe0of0Q7821Ck/s1600/P10AC017-01.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
If I were to get a necklace, I'd go with the one below. I love perfume bottles. I have a mini collection of them and am always on the look out for pretty antique or antique looking bottles like this one. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHtehL87hWeMKYAz6WXMBKr8MxAkDil03NhEi9s-QWxP5tjHI_gLICL2vcwUSjL1A5hXTh6T1Wx0HvMY8UyBxGIr1aUrx48UNaxhMZeb97iO12Gh3SD40YqgMdZ5dOgTxgJQycfHYt87g/s1600/P10AC019-g.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHtehL87hWeMKYAz6WXMBKr8MxAkDil03NhEi9s-QWxP5tjHI_gLICL2vcwUSjL1A5hXTh6T1Wx0HvMY8UyBxGIr1aUrx48UNaxhMZeb97iO12Gh3SD40YqgMdZ5dOgTxgJQycfHYt87g/s1600/P10AC019-g.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
If you look close, the ribbon design on the bottle is either an pastel colored enamel or....something else. But I want to say it's enamel. I really like that extra splash of color. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP-_eafu6WRq06sccliykMuLD1wyn0FSuS7gwqSTI124A0fD3EYdurxrvS0fbmjFpUnvkb31PU8RkDaI_X-9PGPKlXQ99p5AIjBBOefJn7UAZnK0p80xdejmBO1MWmI2Q_goXmhOGmTfg/s1600/P10AC019-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP-_eafu6WRq06sccliykMuLD1wyn0FSuS7gwqSTI124A0fD3EYdurxrvS0fbmjFpUnvkb31PU8RkDaI_X-9PGPKlXQ99p5AIjBBOefJn7UAZnK0p80xdejmBO1MWmI2Q_goXmhOGmTfg/s1600/P10AC019-01.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Last, but not least, the socks.<br />
<br />
For me, It's like to see the worn before I make my call. They are nice. But the print is very big and there are no chains or pearls, just the clock doilies and the flower bouquets. It may all tie in very nicely, but I'm reserving judgment.<br />
<br />
Though if not worn with the rest of the print, but on their own to enhance another outfit, I say yes. I do like them. <br />
<br />
In fact, I'm almost sad these weren't made into tights. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY3RebtwHcLg2NTfReMd1vH1HFXB57Dm6tDpHx9pgEXZSLEoVTm0muWKTYxrCOH6wCy_NoxS09S3LNVwPfHVhvg-431o01d0qxYY-ELcXTpjqTE_rjmAHsYrR0W4ap9y_d5DhI1_mI1qU/s1600/P10SC812-ivp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY3RebtwHcLg2NTfReMd1vH1HFXB57Dm6tDpHx9pgEXZSLEoVTm0muWKTYxrCOH6wCy_NoxS09S3LNVwPfHVhvg-431o01d0qxYY-ELcXTpjqTE_rjmAHsYrR0W4ap9y_d5DhI1_mI1qU/s1600/P10SC812-ivp.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So there you have it! Alice and the Pirates 'Last Note ~ Faint Spring Song' collection. My favorite print this season.<br />
<br />
What do you think? Are there any pieces you'd like to have in your wardrobe? Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below, or on facebook! (I'm more likely to comment back on facebook.) <br />
<br />
Thanks for reading! </div>

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
It's been awhile since I showed of my manga collection and this time, I thought I'd share with you one of the rarer sets I have. <br />
<br />
While nothing is quite as "Rare" as it once was what with the ability to order anything online now, I never see this manga is shops anymore and that's very sad because this story is SO cute and the art is amazing. <br />
<br />
That manga is called 'V.B.Rose' and it's all about our heroine, Ageha, a brilliant high school aged accessory designer, who finds out her sister is getting married and takes it poorly. She gets upset about the wedding while with her sister at the bridal shop and after injuring one of the dress makers, Mitsuya, she is thrown out of the shop by the surly hero of the story, Yukari. <br />
<br />
Ageha feels terrible about her behavior and insists upon helping at the shop until Yukari's hand is better and even though she has a few reservations about it, she gets onboard with her sister's wedding and makes it special in the way only Shoujo manga knows how to do. <br />
<br />
Thus begins the start of a wonderful series full of beautiful wedding dresses, Fanciful hair designs, cute outfits, and a love story that at times is both awkward and makes you breathless.<br />
<br />
V.B.Rose, which is not only the name of the manga, but also the name of the Bridal Shop, stands for Velvet Blue Rose. The name is explained in the books in a flash back of Yukari and his father, which is a very touching scene. (As you'll find out when you go read it ^_~)<br />
<br />
Of course there are more characters than just Dressmaker Yukari, Patternmaker/Dressmaker Mitsuya, Accessory Diva Ageha.<br />
<br />
There is a Bead Artist named Tsuyu, Who has a thing for girls with large chests, Kimonos, and Mitsuya.<br />
<br />
A Corsage Maker named Kana, Who has a surly personality, is described as a tiny fairy, and once dated Yukari. <br />
<br />
A set of siblings with a 'more than friends' love of Ageha.<br />
<br />
And many others crazy characters that all come together to create a wonderful ensemble cast! <br />
<br />
To my knowledge, the series is complete with 14 volumes released in Japan and 13 released in America. Volume 14 was never in the US and it saddens me because until the day I have that volume in my hands, I'll never really know what happens with Ageha and Yukari! (To a certain point. I have a wonderful imagination after all.)<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
As you can see, my set is incomplete, but of all of my manga, this series is my favorite. Below, I've included so official art and a few pages from the manga.<br />

<br />
What I really love most about this series is that it shows the passaged of time and the characters change clothes often. So it's a nice way to get new cute ideas to inspire my own outfit choices ^_^ <br />
<br />
I hope ya'll check out this Manga. It's really very beautiful in both story and art and it gets better every read through. If ya'll read this manga, or have read it and loved it as much as I did, let me know!<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading! </div>

Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
A few years ago, various Brands got together and each designed a 'Emily the Strange' dress and then styled it accordingly. Personally, I think they all looked the same, but Emily is very cute and simple, so there isn't much that can be designed without taking away her essence. <br />
<br />
Emily was very cool with her matching set of cats, Mystery, Miles, Sabbath, and Neechee. Her long dark hair and brooding disposition. But I never really connected with her in more than a, 'I like Emily the Strange', kind of way. I never HAD to have her merchandise in my life, though I do have one of her DS games which is rather fun. <br />
<br />
The Gothic Cartoon icon I connected with, Other than Lydia from Beetlejuice, was Ruby Gloom! From her red hair to her adorable bubbly personality, I just loved her! And now that her show is back on Netflix, I am marathoning them and falling in love all over again! <br />
<br />
Go Canada for making this highly cute and extremely detailed show! <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm3ULbTl9zAnIGsU7bC6SbMycg7QVx8x3ya8rGwuqM1fvEVbA-hlmxOZcDAjcAktUnLqUPgFi19PNmeIg4s4P9Mb713pTXSEIOzspLnDqoQsuZ8GCSY9KiZ6hlnZIo8d1odk67gNBBOtk/s1600/Ruby-and-Doom-ruby-gloom-2485070-800-600.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm3ULbTl9zAnIGsU7bC6SbMycg7QVx8x3ya8rGwuqM1fvEVbA-hlmxOZcDAjcAktUnLqUPgFi19PNmeIg4s4P9Mb713pTXSEIOzspLnDqoQsuZ8GCSY9KiZ6hlnZIo8d1odk67gNBBOtk/s1600/Ruby-and-Doom-ruby-gloom-2485070-800-600.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I looked around online to see if any Brands had done a Ruby Gloom Collaboration, like they did with Emily the Strange and Gloomy Bear, but I didn't find any. That's not to say I didn't find an official Brand coordinated outfit though. <br />
<br />

<br />
From what I have found, the model is Nana Kitade. But I can't find what magazine it came from or when sadly. <br />
<br />
** Thanks to a wonderful reader, Muiko, it has come to my attention that the above shot is actually a CD cover! With a bit of looking around, I found that Nana Kitade apparently did the CD under the name 'Ruby Gloom'. <br />
<br />
The title of the CD is called 'Siren', which is also the title track. It was made for the Japanese release of Ruby Gloom and used as the opening theme song. <br />
<br />
There is also a corresponding music video on Youtube. The link is below. I'll admit, it has a cute look. But as a Ruby Gloom fan, you could tell this was a concept rather than a work of love. <br />
<br />
I mean....there was lightening and Misery didn't even get hit! o.o <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heBUwt3Z8fw">Nana Kitade 'Siren' Music Video HERE!! </a> <br />
<br />
Thanks Muiko!!! **<br />
<br />
<br />
So I thought it would be fun to design my own Ruby Gloom inspired outfit! <br />
<br />
Originally, I wanted to use a black version of the 2006 Metamorphose Lucky Pack Dress I own, but I couldn't find any pictures of either version of the dress, so I changed my vision up a bit. <br />
<br />
Below is the ' Mon ange bien-aime ' OP from Alice and the Pirates. I chose this dress for a few different reasons. Mainly, I like the shape. All you'd need is a light A-line petticoat to help hold the given shape and that's it. It's a wonderful casual dress, while at the same time it looks very dressy and elegant. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwiiB30IdSMacycy11gHa-ViguiiFMi5Lpj4yYS72aDmcqrgpBfutbj2oIKDA9Ah-Vz5700d4EksXdxBDva84blm1msKrChdnK0daKLQ7fje4YFtIysig5EDV9yqOGNsvark1sM-xcc70/s1600/109P397-b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwiiB30IdSMacycy11gHa-ViguiiFMi5Lpj4yYS72aDmcqrgpBfutbj2oIKDA9Ah-Vz5700d4EksXdxBDva84blm1msKrChdnK0daKLQ7fje4YFtIysig5EDV9yqOGNsvark1sM-xcc70/s1600/109P397-b.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
The elegance of this dress really steals my breathe. I also like that the long sleeves are detachable, so it's multi-seasonal. <br />
<br />
Below is the same dress with the sleeves removed. They didn't show the black version without the sleeves.<br />
<br />
It so cute and is perfect for Ruby. And I have been assured that the black version is fully black, with different black dyes rather than Black and Dark Green. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4sAxs7sm76mEbezHgsJ1yV09cNnd3r1KWaVlbEQLrUva6_MAuXORJkXhb7AakqaCIeCP2zRNOggiMT_x8wrukXTIvDmNsWFZG6dA1t_NdN0rTjQI35ofijBVxy-QCJjahsrH-dGe11HE/s1600/off.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4sAxs7sm76mEbezHgsJ1yV09cNnd3r1KWaVlbEQLrUva6_MAuXORJkXhb7AakqaCIeCP2zRNOggiMT_x8wrukXTIvDmNsWFZG6dA1t_NdN0rTjQI35ofijBVxy-QCJjahsrH-dGe11HE/s1600/off.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next is the most important part of the outfit! The socks! Any A-line, puffy sleeved dress will do for Ruby Gloom, but to capture her whimsy, the socks are key. <br />
<br />
I found these socks on Sockdreams.com and they are the Over the Knee Rugby Socks. The red and gold is currently sold out, but they are perfect for Ruby. I chose these over other red/orange and yellow socks because of how vibrant they are. <br />
<br />
These socks add a touch of 'Cartoon' to the outfit that adds charm to the final product. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeBiTqZK6MfbRdx8ELxW0G63aqoYjMj1Gt6-gxF6y6ydFNP8b_OxsEviKV3EQNFOW1lHItgNaZnWheUtS5pCIRdvw7vaaWSO-tR6LzOJ9kNlu25KtAFCz0KfJzzaqpQq8zDYfbpdquCnI/s1600/product_variety_big_4396.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeBiTqZK6MfbRdx8ELxW0G63aqoYjMj1Gt6-gxF6y6ydFNP8b_OxsEviKV3EQNFOW1lHItgNaZnWheUtS5pCIRdvw7vaaWSO-tR6LzOJ9kNlu25KtAFCz0KfJzzaqpQq8zDYfbpdquCnI/s1600/product_variety_big_4396.jpg" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
For Shoes, I turned to Secret Shop. While not normally my Go To shop, they do have cute shoes perfect for multi outfit wear. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9-7SINa65QZ_bcOox8mRMDC55MNNsk9ajYMRy9lCfBcRb1-8flNZzBqPt6I2PKMf84QyiQkKn3-X1skwPc3pTx4Kxyfpg9ImMsX8cJ3T-OI8mF1z_IKzCi67PigHPaVgnubkOboifokI/s1600/secret_shop_shoes_model_9817_-_black.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9-7SINa65QZ_bcOox8mRMDC55MNNsk9ajYMRy9lCfBcRb1-8flNZzBqPt6I2PKMf84QyiQkKn3-X1skwPc3pTx4Kxyfpg9ImMsX8cJ3T-OI8mF1z_IKzCi67PigHPaVgnubkOboifokI/s1600/secret_shop_shoes_model_9817_-_black.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
These have a slight heel for posture, but are relatively low to the ground in keeping with Ruby's flat Mary Janes. <br />
<br />
And there we have it! Her outfit is rather simple with little extra to wiggle about or change to drastically. <br />
<br />
For a little cheeky fun for a Mega Ruby Fan, you can add a heart and cross bones shaped headdress with a skull wearing an interchangeable hat in the middle, with a few hearts hanging from the Heart and crossbones, to play on Ruby's crush on her friend Skull boy. And one bat and one ghost earring to represent Scaredy Bat and Booboo the ghost. You could even carry a purse that looked like an eyeball for Ruby's friend Iris! <br />
<br />
The less obvious touches are what would make this outfit the most fun for me! But they aren't needed to have a Ruby Gloom Inspired Outfit! <br />
<br />
I hope you liked it!<br />

(For Sensetive and Dry Skin)<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Hello Lovelies~ <br />
<br />
Tonight I'm hanging out in a quite house surrounded by three very loving cuddly dogs and it's just a relaxing night. So I thought, why not a Spa night? <br />
<br />
I looked around Pinterest and found a few DIY masks that I had the ingredients to mix up and settled on a Banana mask that seemed the best option for my skin type. <br />
<br />
I have combination sensitive skin and the mask I made was a Banana/Olive oil/ Egg mask and it worked very well!~ <br />
<br />
Before you make this mask, make sure your skin is clean. If it isn't, the mask will sit on top of all the days ick and won't help much. <br />
<br />
Here's what you'll need! <br />
<br />
Half a Banana (Eat the other half it's good for you.)<br />
2 Tea spoons of Olive Oil (I used Extra Virgin and it worked just fine, but you can also use Coconut oil if you have that on hand.)<br />
and <br />
1 Egg Yolk<br />
<br />
Step One ~ Mash the Banana up with the Egg Yolk until combined thoroughly, then add the Olive oil. <br />
<br />
Step Two ~ Apply to face. Hands or Brush, either is good.<br />
<br />
Step Three ~ Relax with soothing music or your favorite show or a book/magazine for 15 - 20 minuets. <br />
<br />
Step Four ~ Rinse off and lightly pat your face dry. <br />
<br />
And then you're done! <br />
<br />
<br />
This is an easy quick mask that takes less than 5 minuets to put together, and it does feel odd at first, but in the end it's worth it. I like a smooth non chunky consistency, so I mashed the bananas until smooth, but if it's just a rough mash, that's ok as well. <br />
<br />
The actual recipe calls for a Whole Banana, but this mask doesn't store well, so I shortened it to Half.<br />
<br />
WARNING!!! <br />
<br />
This recipe is NOT GOOD for those with severe skin conditions such as Eczema. According to feed back on Pinterest this recipe can cause intense redness and itching in rare cases. <br />
<br />
I hope ya'll give this a try and let me know how it works out for you in the comments below or On my Facebook! (Kathleen Sweitzer)<br />
<br />
Pictures of this mask can be found on my Instagram -Rosesandcream<br />

I hope some of these quotes make you nod and say "yes, I agree," or laugh, or whatever inspires you most this month. My favorite quote from these pictures, happens to be the one from the beautiful Miss Marilyn Monroe. "Being Normal is Boring!". So, So Boring. <br />
