I know I haven't been posting a lot these past two weeks, and there are lots of reasons, but the best one happens to be that it was my birthday over the weekend and I was busy getting ready for it ^_^
We went out to dinner at a local All You Can Eat Sushi place on Friday night. It took me forever to get ready and I'll be posting pictures of that night as I get them sent to me from everyone that took pictures. Can you believe I was an hour late to my own party? .... yeah. I knew you could U.U;
Lol I am always running late to most anything.
On Saturday I hung out with friends that had come in from out of town and I even made breakfast for everyone with my world famous pancakes! I tried to get them shaped like hearts, but they just refused to cooperate! So we had regular round shaped pancakes. But they were still good.
One of my friends got me the most beautiful purse for my birthday!!!
o.o....ok. So I'll be honest and say that it was only after this picture was taken that I actually changed out of my pajamas. But my pants have large pink roses on them, so I think they are awesome!!!! Not party appropriate, but awesome none the less.
The purse is so feminine and ruffle-ly and pink! I love it and am currently trying to figure out what to wear it with seeing as I have no pink dresses or accessories. Pink usually isn't my color, but I'm willing to give it a shot if it means getting to show off this purse!
My Mother made my cake and though it wasn't the prettiest rococo creation ever, it did look rather homemade, She made it with tons of love and it tasted like Heaven!
She says it was just icing out of a can, but I think she's lying. It was like....marshmallow fluff only not. We had just enough cake for everyone to have a piece and I was so sad that there wasn't more.
Another gift I got was 'Tangled'! Oh my lord I was so excited to finally get to see the movie that I promptly put it in and it was so so good. I think my favorite character was....Maximus. The horse was the best.
If you have yet to see 'Tangled' please, got out right now and Rent it. Buy it. Download it. Watch it at a friends house if they happen to own it! Anything. The love story is super sweet and the music doesn't take over the show. It was a great Disney movie and it warms the heart.
I also received some games from someone very close to my heart. I got Poke'mon Black, which I am currently playing and loving, and Mario Cart for the Wii.
I haven't played Mario Cart yet, but I hope to get really good soon so that when next my Francis comes to visit me, we can have a good Go Cart Battle!
So that was my weekend. Full of fun, food, and much laughter. I had such a good time, I can't wait for my next party!!!
How far away is Halloween?
