Hello Lovelies~
I had so much planned for December, but I got tired of running between the different devices to post and decided to take a small break during the crazy holiday season.
It was the first Christmas I've been away from my Mum, and I'll admit I was more than a bit down, as to that pressure from my job and various other worries, I just couldn't find it within myself to put much effort into my blog, and I apologize.
But it's a new year, I'll have my laptop back within the next week, and while right now isn't all sunshine and kittens in my life, but that makes me want to work harder at this blog all the more.
Did y'all have a good holiday season?
Despite not being with my Mum, I was with family. My friends really went out of their way to include me in their family Christmases. I was gifted with a Kindle fire! I've really enjoyed reading and playing Tetris. n_n
I was also gifted with a wall decoration that says, "Give a girl the right shoes and she can do anything.", a quote from the legendary Marilyn Monroe, which I believe with all of my heart. And we all know how much I love my shoes!
I have yet to receive my presents from my Mum, but she promises I'll love them, and I will be exchanging gifts with another fried at another time as she had a few things happen over the holidays and we have yet to get together since.
My friend Linda also stopped by and surprised me with presents! There is little better than good smelling things for an at home spa day. ^_^
One of my favorite gifts is actually from my friend Jenee from JunkyAlchemy. She made me a decorated egg with rhinestones! Sounds odd, but when I get pictures up you'll see just how epic this egg is.
As for my New Year's, it was rather quite. I stayed in and watched movies. Boring maybe, but enjoyable.
So that's what's been going on with me. I hope all of you had good holiday, no matter what you happen to celebrate.
Happy New Year and here's looking forward to lots of happiness and joy in the coming months.
